Pete wentz got in tattoo ink

Pete Wentz may have a bizarre new tattoo, but at least he has proven to be a man of his word. According to a source, Ashlee Simpson’s husband “promised Cobra Starship frontman Gabe Saporta that if the first single from their sophomore release “HOT MESS” went to platinum, he would get a Cobra Starship related tattoo on his body to commemorate the achievement.
When the single “Good Girls Gone Bad” far exceeded all expectations, Pete hit the tattoo parlor. The joke was on him though when Saporta wittingly chose an image of himself with the phrase “Gabey Baby Made Me Go Bad” to grace Wentz’s calve - a permanent reminder of Cobra Starship’s success and Gabe’s face.” Check out Pete’s new ink and other fabulous celebrity tattoos.

Tree Tattoo Pictures

Tree tattoo pictures are not very common. Are they? Not many people will be having tree tattoos. Have you wondered why it is so? That is because trees have a great significance in many Asian and African cultures. It also has links with Celtic history. The meaning of tree tattoo pictures is linked with all these cultures and the impact and significance is so strong that many people prefer not to get it.

Now if you are thinking that you see so many girls with different flower tattoos like roses, daisy, lily, sunflower and leaves like shamrock and others. Are they not tree tattoo pictures? NO! They are not. They are flower tattoos. I am talking about a tree as in whole.

So here are some popular tree tattoo pictures for you!

The most popular one is the cherry tree tattoo pictures. This female-only tattoo is a symbol of sexuality and beauty but not in literal terms. This tattoo gets its meaning from the Japanese cherry blossom which is a symbol of life which is short and beautiful and Chinese cherry blossom which means power. Both these are close to beauty of a woman which is her power and is also short lived. However there is this not so popular tattoo of cherry tree with falling cherry. It means that a girl has lost her innocence and Beauty just as a cherry fallen from a tree loses its beauty and juice. So many girls avoid it fearing it might convey wrong message.

Then there is the Bodhi tree; A tree under which Buddha sat for years and meditated. He finally got his enlightenment under this tree. People who firmly believe in the teachings of Buddha have Bodhi tree tattoo pictures. Very few in today's world who firmly believes and follows his teachings may get one!!

Then there is the acorn which grows to mighty oak tree. Acorn has so many different meanings in different cultures. It varies from strength to fertility. Even in tattoo pictures it differs in the way it's drawn. Then there are other trees as well.

So you think you will get a tree tattoo!

Japanese Yakuza Designs On The Sexy Girl Back

Bucking the trend of the usual intricate Japanese Yakuza designs - this one is nice and simple, red and black with a dragon motif. It's a fairly sparse tattoo as well, especially when you consider the types of tattoos Shoko Tendo has. Still, this tattoo is nicely done and very attractive.

Tattoo - The Beginning of the Body Art

A tattoo is a marking made by inserting ink into the skin to change the pigment for decorative or other reasons. It is said that the word tattoo has two major origins- from the Polynesian word "ta" which means striking something and from the Tahitian word "tatau" meaning to mark something. It began over 5000 years ago and tattoo is as diverse as the people who have them on their skin.

Tattoos on human are a type of decorative body modification while tattoos on animals are most commonly used for identification or branding. For Polynesian, Samoan, Tongan, etc. it is called tatau. In Tahitian, tatu. The word tatau was immediately adapted into English, the pronunciation was changed to conform to English phonology as tattoo. Sailors later introduced both the word and reintroduced the concept of tattooing to Europe. Tattoo fanatics may refer to tattoos as ink, tats, art, pieces or work. The tattooists can also be called as Artists.

Tattooing has been practiced worldwide. It has been a Eurasian practice at least since Neolithic period. Otzi the Iceman was found in the Otz valley in the Alps, dating from the 4th to 5th millennium BC, had more or less 57 carbon tattoos consisting of small dots and lines on his lower spine, on his right ankle and behind his left knee. Other mummies like the Mummy of Amunet from ancient Egypt was found dating from the end of the 2nd millennium BC bearing tattoos.

Pre-Christian Celtic, Germanic and other central and northern European tribes were often heavily tattooed, according to surviving accounts.

Tattooing in Japan is thought to go back to the Paleolithic era, some ten thousand years ago. Plenty other cultures have had their own tattoo traditions, ranging from rubbing cuts and wounds with ashes, to hand-pricking the skin to insert inks or dyes.

In the Western world today, tattooing has originated from Polynesia by 18th century explorers. It became popular among European sailors, before it became popular worldwide.

Despite the growing fascination with tattooing of the social sciences as well as the people worldwide and the immense popularity of body tattoos themselves, the practice has not left much of a historical record.

Tattoo Sleeves - Slip on Body Art - Great For Tattoo Ideas

Tattoo Sleeves are similar to a stocking that slips over your arms or legs to give you a realistic, skin tight looking tattoo. They have been used in movies and on stage to give the actors a more realistic tattoo look.

Most people buy them for the shock value, and to trick their friends and family in to thinking that they have a real tattoo. Some people buy them for fancy dress parties, Halloween, theme parties or to get an idea of what tattoo design they would like to get done permanently.

The best thing about tattoo sleeves, is the fact that they are indeed temporary. With temporary tattoos, you don't have to worry about infections or unsanitary equipment, as there is no piercing of the skin involved. Slip on Tattoo Sleeves are safe, and remove easily by slipping off and on your arms, just like a stocking. This is very cost friendly, as permanent tattoos require surgery to remove.

If you have been thinking about getting a permanent tattoo, you should first give a slip on tattoo sleeve a try. Tattoos that are temporary provide an excellent way to test out designs, and see if a tattoo is right for you. If you don't like it, all you have to do is pull it off. Then, you can purchase another one and see if you like it better.

If you decide to get a permanent tattoo instead, you are pretty much stuck with it. To get rid of a permanent tattoo, you'll need to have it surgically removed, which can cost you thousands of dollars. You'll also face the risk of infection, along with a permanent scar. Permanent tattoos are great - providing you are happy with the tattoo.

Slip on tattoo sleeves are easier to apply than permanent tattoos and they pose no risk to your skin or your health. Those that are afraid of needles tend to like them as well, as they give you the chance to have a tattoo without going under the needle. Before you rush out and get a tattoo, you should instead give a slip on tattoo sleeve a try. They won't cost you a lot of money - yet they will give you the chance to see how you look with a tattoo - and decide if a permanent tattoo is really something you want.

You can find Tattoo Sleeves on the internet for less then $10.00. - tattoo-sleeves.com and eBay have heaps of tattoo sleeve designs for sale.

Top Sexy Tattoo Places For Men and Women

When it comes to getting a tattoo, having it at the right place of the body matters just as much as the design itself. What good would it be if you have a really rocking tat when it's hidden under your clothes all the time and all you really want to do is to show them to the whole world?

Rib

Rib tats seem like all the rage nowadays. Because of all that skin, it's a wonderful canvass for any captivating design. However, unlike the back it provides a new way of presenting ink on skin. Wear a nice back-less dress to a party or a bikini in the beach and people will be ogling at your tat. Men only need to pull up their shirts to get the same result.

Lower Back

The lower back has always been a crowd favorite. Just when people think you don't have any ink on you, you wear that low-rise jeans and there it is. It's great if you want to surprise people, which is why a number of "squeaky clean" celebrities opt to have any tattoo art on their lower backs, like Jessica Alba.

Wrist

Wrist tattoos are very popular with the ladies especially since you can cover the tattoo art under a bracelet or a watch if you have to, but then its there for you to show off. Ask Lindsay Lohan. But the guys don't have to feel left out as Eminem has one himself.

Chest

For men who would like to create an allusion of having larger and well-defined chests, having tattoo just might solve the problem. Former professional wrestler, Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson has one.

Arm

Men likes to show off their toned arms and what could be a better way to do it than having an interesting tattoo art inked on their arm. Women think that men with great biceps are sexy and adding amazing tat art are a definite plus to their sex appeal.

The Tribal Tattoo

Going down the pages of history, it is quite evident that tattoos are probably as old as the mankind itself. The oldest traces of tattoos found in Egypt in the archaeological records throw lights on it's origin. These tattoos were used by several ancient tribes all over the world. These not only served as accessories to decorate their body but also were symbolic representation of status, strength and vitality. Tribesmen even used tattoos to keep the evil spirit away and heal themselves from certain diseases. Tattoos even depicted a soldier's victory symbolically representing their courage and strength.

Over time, these tattoos have been perceived as tools of adoring oneself. Tattoos may be of varied kinds - flower tattoo, tribal tattoo, animal tattoo, religion tattoo, mural tattoo etc. Tribal tattoos being one of them reminds of the rich cultural heritage. Over years people have been appreciating the art of tribal tattoo and it still continues. They depict a combination of strength and beauty with bold strokes, pointed angels and graceful curves. This rare combination of beauty and strength formed by different shapes and sizes catches the eye of the viewer.

Generally, the embedding of the tribal tattoos is mostly done in the back or on the arm. People express their own identity uniquely using these tribal tattoos. It makes one look classy and of course traditional too. Undoubtedly, it is due to the numerous designs, creativity and the uniqueness of the tribal tattoos that there are still in vogue. They are so varied and carry so many designs of which the dragon, the Scorpio, the phoenix, the snake and the bear are the popular ones. Gone are the days when women used to wear the floral tattoos, rather they now flaunt their cool image with a tribal tattoo.

Flower Tattoos

For some strange reasons, I like designing flower tattoos more than others. Flower tattoos are mostly favored by women, they are like clothes accessories except that you can wear your tattoo to bed. It’s like having a piece of art with you all the time. I find women with tattoos more appealing, sexier, more feminine and more powerful.

The image of a tattoo can be so captivating that it stirs up all our senses. You can have a Rose tattoo with a barbed wire around it and still look very good. It’s Ying and Yang, loving and sweet but authoritative and intimidating. But if you are intending to ink a flower tattoo on your body, it’s best to find out the meaning of the flower and what you want it to represent. You can then combine different images to give contrasting impressions of your tattoos.

I have compiled a list of meaning of flowers as a guide before you tattoo them on your body. I cannot vouch how official these meanings are, but my research has shown them to be fairly consistent. flower tattoos are permanent, so look around before deciding on one.
